Professional Experiences

  • My unique professional trainings and experiences have afforded me rich opportunities to work with individuals, organizations and even at a system-level nationally and internationally.

    • For example, I’ve spent time in the health-care sector, (specifically, designing and delivering trainings in Knowledge Translation and Patient-Oriented Research at the Li Ki Shing Knowledge Institute), where I supported the collaborative efforts of patients, policy-makers, physicians, and researchers. I’ve even evaluated these trainings and published findings in the BioMed Central Journal: Research Involvement and Engagement.

    • Plus, I’ve worked in various roles and organizations within the education sector helping both teachers and students of all ages and grades (i.e., elementary, high school, and in post-secondary contexts) as they expanded their own professional and personal skills, knowledge bases, and confidence.

  • Pairing these professional experiences with those rooted in nutrition, coaching, yoga philosophy and practice equips me with unique and effective skills and knowledge that help me connect with people in a meaningful way to address their desired wellness goals.
